The headquarters of the Oman Human Rights Commission visited by a delegation from the Royal Army of Oman Medical Services.

A delegation from the Progressive Medical Services Course for Officers of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) visited OHRC headquarters. The delegation was received by Mr.Saeed bin Salem Al Nomani, secretary general of the commission and a number of competent managers.

The delegation was briefed on the committee’s mechanism for protecting and promoting human rights through the roles played by the Monitoring and Complaints Reception Department, the Legal Affairs Department, the Organizations and International Relations Department, and the Media and Communications Department. The delegation was also provided with an explanation by relevant officials about the committee’s responsibility in monitoring human rights-related legislation and laws, as well as its role in monitoring and responding to reports from international organizations.
